Meet the Artist

What's up everyone! If you don't know me, I'm Jamie, and I live in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia. I grew up in a small town and live in an even smaller town.

The day after my 31st birthday, I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer. It's funny how life happens. Sometimes life doesn't work out the way we expect. We have to be adaptable and go with the changes of life. I found crafting to be a positive outlet, a form of therapy that helped me process and cope with what I faced. Art gave me a safe space to feel and grieve, without resorting to negative and unhealthy coping methods.
